A review (Book: The Boxers)

A REVIEW

The Boxers - Penguin Readers - Level 3 Autor: Tomalin, Mary Editora: Pearson - Elt Assunto: Policial E Crime/ Leitura Simplificada

"The Boxers is a book that allows you to imagine about a real situation in a courtroom. It's a great book because it's easy for understanding and knowing who is speaking, their gestures and how each one behaves. It's a story that happens in England. Michael Boxer was a policeman who was murdered in his house and among other suspects, Jennifer Radman is the most one likely.  It's an exciting story and grabs reader's attention to take the true murderer. I think Jennifer isn't. She just needed some money and she had been asking it to her brother, Michael. People knew about the relation of them and the brothres that had been fighting. She, on the other hand, left home to live a boyfriend when she was younger, had kids and nowadays she is a single mother. The witnesses, make the reader change their opinion about Jennifer. In additing, some people depose for trying to solve or complicate the case. Everyone in that room can be guilty of murder, though. It’s important to know about Michael’s life to have some conclusions, there were some people who hated him".
Mary Tomalin is good at writing and I enjoy her words in The Boxers.

What's a movie review and summary?

When you write about a movie you can do a Review or a Summary.

- REVIEW
  1. Main idea
  2. Main characters
  3. Opinion
  4. Duration, name of director... (General information)

- SUMMARY

You put the information, the story, but you don't express your opinion.

A summary

"At New York's Central Park Zoo, a lion, a zebra, a giraffe, and a hippo are best friends and stars of the show. But when one of the animals goes missing from their cage, the other three break free to look for him, only to find themselves reunited ... on a ship en route to Africa. When their vessel is hijacked, however, the friends, who have all been raised in captivity, learn first-hand what life can be like in the wild."

Moments

Nothing like a desire, a previous desire to transform the situation. The telephone rang while the woman was sleeping or dreaming. The desire to have the lasts love shouts.

She: Hello?
He: Were you sleeping?
She: Yes, I was. I got up to answer the phone.
He: Why did nobody answer the last call?
She: Oh, I'm alone here.
He: Did you forget me?
She: No.
He: I don't know. I'd go there, but you are sleeping.
She: I'm not sleeping. I got up, honey.
He: Then, can I see you?
She: Yeah!
-
They sit on the sofa. They talked a little, some questions and some silly things were told.
They closer.

He: What am I going to earn on Dia dos Namorados?
 [They kissed and hugged]
It became strong. They didn't speak anymore.
The hands moved and touched some parts of the body. The respiration became intense, the kisses around the lips.
On woman's bed they made love, or had a sex. It was a memory, without words. That moment, that moment... It wasn't the first time there. The bed has already watched that love.
The emotion... Someone could arrive. How come? There was a plan. Any noisy they'd run to room. Ahhhhh.
He had an orgasm, left the bedroom and dressed up. So, they returned to room and restart that silly conversation.
