A review (Book: The Boxers)

A REVIEW

The Boxers - Penguin Readers - Level 3 Autor: Tomalin, Mary Editora: Pearson - Elt Assunto: Policial E Crime/ Leitura Simplificada

"The Boxers is a book that allows you to imagine about a real situation in a courtroom. It's a great book because it's easy for understanding and knowing who is speaking, their gestures and how each one behaves. It's a story that happens in England. Michael Boxer was a policeman who was murdered in his house and among other suspects, Jennifer Radman is the most one likely.  It's an exciting story and grabs reader's attention to take the true murderer. I think Jennifer isn't. She just needed some money and she had been asking it to her brother, Michael. People knew about the relation of them and the brothres that had been fighting. She, on the other hand, left home to live a boyfriend when she was younger, had kids and nowadays she is a single mother. The witnesses, make the reader change their opinion about Jennifer. In additing, some people depose for trying to solve or complicate the case. Everyone in that room can be guilty of murder, though. It’s important to know about Michael’s life to have some conclusions, there were some people who hated him".
Mary Tomalin is good at writing and I enjoy her words in The Boxers.
